Seth Godin at Maker Faire NY: Art and Science and Making Things

Seth Godin is one of my favorite male writers. I have written about him several times in the past since 2009. You can only imagine how thrilled I was to actually hear the bestselling author and entrepreneur speak in person yesterday at Maker Faire NY. It’s very rare that amazing writers are equally amazing speakers…but he was!  I videotaped the majority of his talk. His thoughts on school, innovation and “the lizard mind” were thought-provoking. I agree with practically everything that he said (especially the part about schools) and walked away asking myself, “Now, what can I make next?” Well, I ended up making dinner, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg .
