There is sometimes a misconception that when women become moms they lose everything else about themselves. While it is true that motherhood changes many things, it is false that it changes everything. Fashion is a perfect example. Although my personal style has changed a little over the years, I still have the same fundamental style mentality. I like classic styles with clean lines. I also like color or one other thing that will make the outfit special to me.

Although I’m not consumed with fashion, I like to stay current. Based on conversations, many of my other friends who are moms feel the same way. That is why I was so happy that several of my friends were planners, models and twitterati for  Strut – The Fashionable Mom Show that premiered at Lincoln Center earlier today.  Just in case you missed it, below is a video that BabyCenter made available.
